01The problem
Invasive vegetation changes landscapes fast. We help you take control before it takes over.
Most established invasive plants persist through root systems, rhizomes or seed banks that remain long after the visible growth is gone. Cutting alone rarely holds, and the method that works on one site can fail — or make things worse — on another.
We identify the species, read the site, and build a treatment plan around both: targeted herbicide and pesticide application where it is appropriate and permitted, timed to the biology of the plant and the constraints of the ground.
Herbicide and pesticide use in Canada is regulated. Products must be registered for their intended use and applied to label and provincial requirements. We assess whether treatment is appropriate — and we say so when it is not.

- 02
Herbicide Application
Targeted herbicide application for vegetation management projects, selected and timed for the species and the site.
- 03
Pesticide Application
Professional pesticide application where it is appropriate for the project, carried out within applicable regulatory requirements.
- 04
Roadside Vegetation Control
Vegetation management along municipal roads, highways, transportation corridors and associated infrastructure.
- 05
Right-of-Way Vegetation Management
Vegetation management for rights-of-way, infrastructure corridors and similar linear properties.
- 06
Wetland & Natural Area Vegetation Management
Targeted invasive vegetation management for wetlands, shorelines and natural environments where site sensitivity governs the approach.
- 07
Commercial & Industrial Vegetation Control
Vegetation management for commercial, industrial, utility and infrastructure properties, including yards, perimeters and laydown areas.
- 08
Private Property Invasive Species Control
Site-specific invasive vegetation management for landowners, large acreage properties and waterfront land.

05Field procedure
How a project runs
Every site is different. The sequence is not.
01
Assess
Identify the species, site conditions and management objectives on the ground.
02
Plan
Determine an appropriate vegetation-management strategy, method and timing.
03
Treat
Carry out approved control work with appropriate equipment and application technique.
04
Document
Maintain project documentation where the project or client requires it.
05
Monitor
Evaluate results and determine whether further management is appropriate.

Identification, spread and management notes for the invasive plants most often encountered across Ontario.
SP / 01Invasive PhragmitesPhragmites australis subsp. australisEuropean Common Reed forms dense stands in wetlands and roadside ditches and is one of the most difficult invasive plants to manage in Ontario.View species profile
SP / 02Japanese KnotweedReynoutria japonicaA rhizomatous perennial that regenerates from very small fragments, making mechanical removal one of the most common ways it spreads.View species profile
SP / 03Giant HogweedHeracleum mantegazzianumA very large invasive plant whose sap can cause severe skin reactions in sunlight, requiring careful professional handling.View species profile
SP / 04Wild ParsnipPastinaca sativaA yellow-flowered roadside invader whose sap causes burns in sunlight, common along Ontario road corridors and field edges.View species profile
SP / 05Dog-Strangling VineVincetoxicum rossicumA twining perennial that forms dense mats in meadows, woodland edges and disturbed open ground.Identification reference — full guide in progress
SP / 06Common BuckthornRhamnus catharticaA woody invader that dominates woodlot understoreys and fence lines and resprouts vigorously after cutting.Identification reference — full guide in progress
SP / 07Garlic MustardAlliaria petiolataA shade-tolerant biennial that carpets forest floors and suppresses native woodland plants.Identification reference — full guide in progress
SP / 08Purple LoosestrifeLythrum salicariaA wetland invader producing very large seed quantities and dense stands along shorelines and marsh edges.Identification reference — full guide in progress

07Positioning
Built for difficult sites, time-sensitive vegetation problems, and projects where documentation matters.
We work on complex, project-driven vegetation management — the sites where species biology, regulation, access and timing all have to line up before anyone puts equipment on the ground.
See how we work with each groupMunicipalities
Road allowances, parks and open space edges, stormwater features, municipal facility grounds and public land where invasive vegetation affects access, safety or natural areas.
Road & Infrastructure Contractors
Vegetation control supporting road maintenance, construction and infrastructure contracts, scheduled around the work already underway on the corridor.
Conservation & Environmental Organizations
Targeted invasive vegetation management in natural areas, wetlands and restoration sites where protecting the surrounding native plant community is the priority.
Engineering & Environmental Consultants
Field execution of vegetation management components within larger environmental, infrastructure and development projects, with documentation appropriate to the project.
Utilities & Infrastructure Operators
Corridor vegetation management maintaining clearance, access and inspection visibility around distributed infrastructure across difficult terrain.
Commercial / Industrial Property Owners
Yards, laydown areas, fence lines, drainage features and perimeters where vegetation affects operations, drainage, security visibility and site inspections.
Developers & Construction Companies
Identification and management of invasive vegetation on development sites, where soil movement can spread species such as Japanese knotweed across and off the property.
Private Landowners
Larger rural, waterfront and acreage properties where invasive vegetation is affecting shorelines, woodlots, fields, access or land use.
